THE major highlight about this holiday,
was THE BIG GROOVE concert that was held on the 28 June 2009.
The most awesome dance concert I've been
to yet, and I was sitting in the first 10 rows in front
of the STAGE!!!!
Crews That Performed:
O Crew
Styles from Beyond
Funky Ziggy
5+5
Philippine All Stars
Cool Mint
Wrecking Crew Orchestra
SD Crew
Freaky Klownz
United Dance Works
Danz People
Floor Techniques Crew
Lion City Lockers
NRA
Pink Dollar Crew
Poppers Action Party
Trademark
O Crew rocked the stage with their Michael Jackson impersonation in memory of him. So did Styles from Beyond. Although I felt that the MCs ******, the entire concert was one that I will never forget seeing. WCO was DOPE, so were the Philippine All Stars and just, all the performers who danced. Not only because it was super duper off the hook DOPE, but also because I watched it with the SDZ family! =D We were all inspired by what we saw last night, and we will keep working hard so that we can perform on THAT very stage with the crews from overseas, whom we all idolized after more than 2 hrs of watching them in Dance Heaven... Aka The Big Groove. The energy and atmosphere was so awesome! There was so much dancing going on, that we didn't notice that it was nearly 11pm when it all ended (tear...)
PS: I think now, more than ever, that Fredy is just so
HOT when he dances! XD

Watched Ghosts of Girlfriend's Past and Transformers with Clara on Thursday.
While watching Transformers in the cinema, I received an sms from my mum,
asking whether I was free the next day cause my uncles were planning to have
a family dinner. To me, family comes first. So I cancelled the plans I made with
Nicole, and we planned this outing close to two weeks ago so that it wouldn't clash
with anything else. The next day, when I went down to that place where the restaurant
was at, I gave my mum a call, asking whether they were there yet. Her reply was, "oh the dinner is tomorrow, Saturday. I thought you knew."
No Mother, I didn't know.
Thanks a lot.
When told her that I cancelled plans with a friend that we had made two weeks in advance,
she didn't seem to care, there was no apology, no nothing.
I hate it when these things happen. I just HATE it. HATE IT HATE IT HATE IT. HATE IT HATE IT HATE IT HATE IT HATE IT HATE IT.
I just hate it when people refuse to apologize.
I might seem childish now. But what would you have done if you were in my shoes?
R.I.P Michael Jackson. You were my first inspiration to start dancing, and you have inspired me through your music to carry on with life. This legendary icon will continue to inspire me, God bless his soul and his family and friends. They are going through a tougher time that any of us in the world. Michael, you and your music will continue to live on through all your fanatics and all the good that you have done in your short time on this earth.
